Rustic charm is enhanced by contemporary chic at Son Balagueret, a secluded Mallorcan villa with private swimming pool. You’ll feel immersed in tradition the minute you step through the courtyard entrance to this luxury stone-built villa, complete with original 13th century turret.
Yet Son Balagueret feels fresh and inviting too. Modern art on the walls blend seamlessly with classic touches such as wooden shutters, classic Spanish tiled floors, antique rugs and terracotta pots filled with Spanish blooms. It is ideally located in an exclusive estate of villas in a discreet spot with stunning views of the Mediterranean Sea. Enjoy alfresco lunches on the outdoor dining terrace with sea views.
From there, it’s a short stroll to the heated outdoor pool. Help yourself to a glass of something fizzy and settle on an inviting lounger to soak up the afternoon sun.
Sip sundowners on the outdoor lounge area as evening beckons. Later, the spacious open plan lounge and dining area offer the perfect spot to gather with your party before dinner.
Your concierge at this luxury villa will be happy to arrange activities such as golf and sailing. If you require restaurant recommendations and booking, that won’t be a problem either.
The true gem in this villa’s plentiful crown is the bedroom based in the turret, complete with winding staircase and luxury bathroom. Son Balagueret is set in an exclusive estate of villas, Son Bunyola, located a few kilometres from the traditional Majorcan villages of Banyalbufar and Esporles, where there are plenty of restaurants, tapas bars and shops. There is a pebble beach located approximately 30 minutes walk away.
This luxury villa is accessible by car from Majorca’s airport in the capital, Palma (40 minute drive). The island is well connected by air to a number of major European cities, both by scheduled and charter airlines. Hiring a car is advised for exploring the island.
