The Chalets of Zermatt consists of four unique and very rare adjacent Zermatt residences that can be rented as one unit for exclusive use by a larger group. The unit is made up of four separate chalets; Chalet Pollux, Chalet Gemini, Chalet Castor and Chalet Ibron. These four chalets are situated in two freestanding buildings located within 10 metres of each other making them a perfect retreat for a group of up to 34 guests. Each is a luxurious three storey independent chalet with 4-5 bedrooms.
Side by side, tucked against a beautiful hillside just 200m from the Matterhorn Express lift, the numerous balconies and large terraces provide beautiful bird’s eye views of the village and the surrounding mountains. Encompassing all three of Zermatt’s ski areas their location really does provide the best of both worlds; spectacular views and easy access to and from the slopes.
Each chalet has been tastefully decorated with liberal use of wood and natural stone creating a warm, contemporary, alpine finish. The open plan living spaces are perfect for spending time with family and friends allowing plenty of space to entertain, socialise and relax. You can also enjoy cosy evenings guilt free as you snuggle up in the warmth of the chalet’s environmentally friendly geothermal heating system.
To top it all off, after a hard day on the mountain spend some down time relaxing in one of the chalet’s private outdoor hot tubs, accompanied by a glass of bubbly and a view to die for.
Please note, each independent chalet can also be booked separately for smaller groups.
The properties are accessed through a tunnel and a lift, which are just 200m (two mintues’ walk) from the Matterhorn Express Lift station. When you emerge at the top, above the village, it’s a 200m walk to the chalet itself accessed via several flights of steps.
Ski equipment can be left in the ski room in the tunnel. The chalets are also just a ten minute walk from the town centre.
Zermatt is a car-free resort which has a railway station, so guests often arrive by train.
