Tuftra 3 Bedroom Penthouse is perfect for a families or small group of friends wanting to relax, unwind in style and make the most of beautiful Zermatt.
At the heart of the apartment is the open-plan living and dining area, featuring a flatscreen smart TV and wood burning fireplace, an ideal space to simply enjoy each other’s company over a few drinks and catch up on everyone’s day. Floor to ceiling windows allows light to flood into the living spaces, leading out onto the terrace where you can enjoy stunning views the surrounding mountains and forest.
A neat and well-equipped kitchen overlooks this area, which makes cooking together a sociable time on evenings when you decide not to eat out. The dining space is big enough to seat everyone in comfort, so you and friends and family can happily linger all evening over a leisurely meal.
At the end of the evening, after a nightcap on the balcony, retire to uber-cosy bedrooms, designed with only your comfort in mind for a peaceful night’s sleep, ready to make the most of everything Zermatt has to offer in the morning.
For larger groups, this apartment can be booked alongside Tuftra 2 Bedroom Penthouse (subject to availability) to accommodate 10 guests across five bedrooms.
Tuftra Penthouse is located in the Winklematten area of Zermatt, peacefully nestled on the edge of a forest. There are some restaurants, bars, a shop and a children’s play area within 5 minute walk from the property.
If snow conditions allow, it is possible to ski out through the meadow and down to the Klein Matterhorn Express (otherwise approx. 10mins walk), then ski back to the property down the Moosweg ski-run.
The centre of Zermatt itself is approx. 15-20 minutes’ walk away or 6 minutes in an electo-taxi or on the bus.
Zermatt is a car-free resort which has a railway station, so guests often arrive by train. The nearest airport is Geneva, which is approximately 3 hours away.

Low and high seasons vary by location and by property, but the general pattern is as follows:
Chalets
Low season is usually early/mid-December, mid-January, plus the summer months.
Mid season is usually early February, March and April.
High season is usually Xmas, New Year and mid/end February.
European Villas
Low season is usually April, May and October.
Mid season is usually June and September.
High season is usually July and August.
Caribbean Villas
Low season is usually June to November.
