Luxury 5* hotel
The perfect base for your luxury ski holiday in Gstaad, Ultima offers a cosy bolthole in the snow that has all the comforts of home, plus a lot of luxe extras and a good sprinkling of magic.
Ultima 3 Bedroom Residence (No. 21) is part of the luxury 5* Ultima Hotel and Spa, with a team of experienced staff, there to ensure you never need lift a finger and that all arrangements for childcare, ski instruction and anything else you might need are made for you.
Within the private residence, all three double bedrooms each have spa-style en-suites for that hotel feel, but with all the space and privacy you’d expect from a luxury ski apartment. Meanwhile, the communal spaces offer plenty of room for your party to gather together for parties or just a relaxed catch up at the end of each day. In the living area, sprawling sofas and plush velvet armchairs are gathered around the fireplace. Nearby is a glamorous dining area, where you can enjoy meals with friends long into the evening before taking your drinks out onto the private terraces to watch the stars over the rooftops. And, of course, the kitchen is beautifully kitted out with all you might need during your stay; coffee lovers will be relieved to hear the Nespresso machine is permanently on.
As guests of Ultima Gstaad, you’ll want to make the most of the hotel’s fabulous private pool, spa, clinic and gym. Everything you could wish for is on site, and yet you’re still in the heart of the action, just 10 minutes’ walk from the promenade and only metres from the nearest ski lift so whenever you want to be out on the snow you won’t waste a second in getting there.
Please note: there is a collection of apartments at the Ultima hotel and the internal images are of various properties, shown as a guide to reflect the style and decor.
Ultima Gstaad is set between quiet meadows and the road that runs to Glacier 3000, so it’s both peaceful but also close to everything you need.
The Wispile ski lift is just 50 metres from the front door and Rutti-Bodmen and Eggli lifts are both very close by. The promenade is just a 10m walk away.
The nearest airport is Bern, approximately 1hr 30mins away. Alternatively, Geneva is 2hrs and Zurich is 2hrs 30mins drive.

In the mornings, a la carte breakfast is served in the restaurant to all tastes and ensure everyone is well fuelled for a morning on the slopes.
For evening meals, guests of Ultima Gstaad can dine at the hotel’s restaurant and their wine cellar is sure to have a bottle to complement every dish – just ask the in-house wine experts. And of course, there are plenty of wonderful eateries to enjoy in Gstaad which your concierge can help with bookings for. We love Le Petit Chalet for its amazing raclette and fondue.
No. 21 Residence itself is well appointed with a fully-equipped kitchen and dining area should you wish to cater for yourselves in the comfort of your chalet. If, however, you prefer a more relaxed experience during your luxury ski holiday, a private chef service can be arranged on request.
