Offering the perfect combination of home comforts and little luxuries, Apartment B31 at Residence Vail Lodge is a great base from which to explore the best of Val d’Isère. The apartment offers all the intimacy of a private ski chalet but with the benefits of reception and concierge staff on hand whenever you need them.
You can step into this ski-in/ski-out property straight off the piste, and you’ll feel instantly at home. Natural materials such as wood and stone bring a warm feel, while the pared-back design is totally contemporary. Pops of dark blue and burnt orange bring colour and cheer to the neutral palette.
The open-plan design brings everyone together in a really sociable way, with a refectory dining table in one corner, a modern kitchen with bar area in the other, and opposite, two generously sized living spaces, once gathered around the roaring fire and the other forming a TV zone where you can relax with a film.
A spacious outdoor terrace accommodates the bubbling hot tub, where you can soothe aching slopes-weary limbs. There are also al fresco living and dining spaces on the two balconies. Grab a coffee or a glass of bubbly and a big, warm throw and head out here to take in the amazing views and the mountain air.
Vail Lodge Apartment B31 is one of a handful of private apartments in the prestigious Residence Vail Lodge. Located on the third floor, this luxury ski apartment in Val d’Isère is tucked away in the peaceful Legettaz area of the town. The building is set alongside the Santons and Epaule du Charvet slopes with a ski-in/ski-out location and is not far from the centre of Val d’Isère.
Additionally, the accommodations offer an underground parking facility for guests. When taken on a B&B basis, this will include a resort shuttle service from 8.30am – 6pm, operating Sunday to Friday.
The nearest airports are Chambery, two hours away, and Geneva, three hours away.

Flexibility is key at Vail Lodge Apartment B31. Champagne (of course) awaits you on your arrival, and then you can choose a bed and breakfast service, where a filling continental breakfast is delivered to your chalet each morning, or a completely self-catered service.
The apartment has a well-equipped kitchen with everything you need to cook up a storm, right down to the dishwasher and Nespresso coffee machine. There’s a cosy dining space for leisurely meals with friends and a sociable bar area in the kitchen where you can chat to whoever is being chef that evening. Grocery deliveries can also be arranged.

Children are most welcome at this family-friendly ski apartment in Val d’Isère. For those travelling with babies, cots and highchairs are available on request to make packing that bit easier.

Low and high seasons vary by location and by property, but the general pattern is as follows:
Chalets
Low season is usually early/mid-December, mid-January, plus the summer months.
Mid season is usually early February, March and April.
High season is usually Xmas, New Year and mid/end February.
European Villas
Low season is usually April, May and October.
Mid season is usually June and September.
High season is usually July and August.
Caribbean Villas
Low season is usually June to November.
