You’ll find it easy to embrace Majorca’s laid-back island lifestyle at Villa Estevez, a luxury villa with private salt water swimming pool backed by the beautiful UNESCO-listed Tramuntana Mountains.
Days here will no doubt be centred around the 15-metre heated pool, taking a refreshing dip or soaking up the rays poolside. The villa’s gardens have been cleverly zoned off into peaceful lounging spots, kids’ play zones (let them tire themselves out shooting hoops and taking penalties) and dining areas.
Outdoor dining is one of the big draws of a holiday in Majorca and Villa Estevez is perfectly set up for leisurely al fresco meals. Take a seat under the shade of the stylish canopy sail as the chef of your group sizzles up mouth-watering steaks and seafood on the grill. At sunset, gather around the exotic Bali bed and hammock area with an ice-cold drink in hand and watch the sun go down over the mountains.
Inside the villa, a sweeping staircase sets the scene and a cool white-and-cream colour palette oozes effortless Majorcan chic. There’s plenty of space for the whole family to spread out, with a light and airy open-plan living area and a separate playroom for the little ones. When you turn in for the evening, lay your head in one of the five spacious en-suite bedrooms. Bag a super-king with a balcony to make the most of the views with a morning coffee while still in your robe. Bliss.
Villa Estevez is located in peaceful La Font, at the foot of the Tramuntana Mountains in the north-east of Majorca. It’s a short walk from Pollensa town and a 10-minute drive from Port de Pollenca’s beautiful beaches, restaurants, bars and boutiques.
Transfers from Palma airport take around 50 minutes.

At this self-catered Majorcan villa, you can choose to cook indoors or out. Cook up a storm on the grill while gazing up at the mountains as the mouth-watering aromas drift over to the guests lazing by the swimming pool.
If traditional kitchen cooking is more your style, you’ll love the glossy indoor kitchen, complete with all the gadgets you can think of and a must-have island for prepping drinks and nibbles.
Take meals on the dining terrace, by the pool or around the dining table. For a night off, find authentic Mediterranean cuisine in Pollensa or for a livelier evening, head to Port de Pollenca.
Kids will settle in quickly at Villa Estevez. As well as your own 15-metre saltwater swimming pool, there’s a pool table that flips into an air hockey table, a 50-inch TV with an impressive movie library and stacks of indoor and outdoor games including a football goal and basketball hoop. The separate playroom/snug is their own private den for movie nights.
The closest beach is just a quick 10-minute drive away, so you’ll see the sea before the kids ask “are we there yet?” for the first time.
