Wake in the morning to the sound of waves, the scent of lemon groves and your very own view of one of the most romantic stretches of coastline in the world. You won’t get much closer to paradise than a stay at Villa Oliviero in beautiful Positano.
This characterful property, decorated in traditional Italian style, is perched above the town with panoramic views of the ocean and the colourful, Positano rooftops that appear to tumble down to the sea.
The traditional Italian villa has six ensuite bedrooms, all with sea views, where you’re sure to wake refreshed from the kind of sleep that only comes after a day of sunshine and sea air.
The villa’s staff are on hand with plenty of the warm hospitality the Italians are known for. Your concierge will be happy to arrange days out for you, from boat tours of local grottos and caves to wine tastings. Then in the evenings, enjoy a glass of bubbly on your vast terrace while the chef cooks up an Italian feast or swing under the stars in your hammock.
The centre of Positano is a short stroll away through cobbled pedestrian streets. The town is the perfect place for a bit of slow window shopping among the artisan stores and cafes. And when you want to spend a few hours away from the bustle of the town, head back to the villa to enjoy a Jacuzzi or Turkish bath, followed by a refreshing dip in the pool.
This luxury villa is set 180 steps above Positano’s main road affording it spectacular sea views, from there it is a mere 200m to the picture-postcard-beautiful town centre, with its quaint streets lined with shops, bars and restaurants, spilling down to the sea.
The nearest airport is Naples, 1 hour and 20 minutes drive away. Transfers from the airport to Positano can be arranged for you.

The Amalfi coast is renowned for its wonderful food and you could easily eat in a different restaurant every night and enjoy something completely different every time – from perfect pasta dishes to locally caught seafood.
Complimentary continental breakfast is included and will be served in the dining area at a time of your choice. If you choose, you can order dishes for lunch or dinner on an a la carte basis, (at additional cost), which are cooked by the villa’s private local chef who will not disappoint with his delicious Italian cuisine.
There is also a barbecue and pizza oven on the terrace so you can enjoy the full alfresco experience. Or why not let the chef organise a pizza party for your group so you can all learn to create (and eat!) proper Italian pizzas, cooked in your own pizza oven?

Children are sure to be spoiled rotten in this family-friendly location.
As well as the beautiful private pool, children will love paddling in the warm waters of Positano’s pebbled beach before getting a gelato on the way home.
Positano is a pedestrian town, which can make getting around with children a little easier. However, if you have very young children, remember that Positano’s streets are often more or less vertical, and nearly all are stepped, so buggies may not be the order of the day. You’ll see lots of parents using baby carriers instead.
