Villa Palma is your own private coastal oasis away from the bustle of Dubrovnik. Colour comes to life here – all you can see from the villa’s smart stone terrace is the outline of deep green forested slopes against the clear blue sea and bright blue sky. There’s plenty of space for all guests to soak up the view – gaze out from the sun-drenched infinity swimming pool, perch on a plush sun lounger or bag prime vistas from one of the four-poster cabanas. At sunset, pop a bottle of fizz and watch in awe as the colour-changing sky is reflected in the swimming pool and the Adriatic below.
Surrounded by centuries-old olive groves, this farmer’s family home-turned luxury villa offers a slice of total privacy, with no immediate neighbours. Guests even have exclusive access to a private beachside deck carved into the rocks, reached by a two minute walk along a private path and complete with a natural sea pool that’s ideal for children.
Step inside Villa Palma and you’ll be struck by the amount of natural light. The charming open-plan living and dining area has a homely terracotta floor and country-style kitchen, while airy en-suite bedrooms feature high wooden ceilings, custom closets and soft linens.
The village of Molunat encourages a slower pace of life and it’s easy to get on board at Villa Palma. For a true taste of the Med, there’s nothing better than buying boat-fresh tuna from the local fisherman and grilling up a simple feast on the garden barbecue.
Villa Palma is located in the small fishing village of Molunat, around 30 minutes south of Dubrovnik. Locals describe the village as ‘The Med as it once was’ and you’ll find authentic local restaurants and bars here.
The villa has its own boat mooring, so it’s easy to get out on the water.
Transfers from Dubrovnik airport take approximately 20 minutes.
