Its considerable charms have been enhanced for the 21st century, yet it still features beautiful pieces to admire from a large Venetian mirror to the crystal chandelier that hangs above the dining room table, bringing a touch of glamour to your luxury villa holiday.
Villa Rubio overlooks Certosa di San Giacomo and Marina Piccola, with breathtaking views of Capri and Monte Solaro, which you can enjoy, cocktail in hand, from the loungers arranged around the peaceful rooftop terrace.

Villa Rubio is ideally located in a residential area of world-famous Capri, yet is just a short stroll from the island’s buzzing centre.
Capodichino in Naples is the nearest airport and, from there, you can reach Capri by boat (45 minutes by hydrofoil) or helicopter.

Bedrooms
This luxury villa can sleep up to 13 guests. Up to 12 guests can be accommodated in the six first floor bedrooms. In addition, the sixth bedroom has a sitting room which can accommodate one extra person on a sofa bed if required.
All bedrooms have air-conditioning, wifi and vaulted ceilings.
Bedroom one
Double bedroom on the first floor; en-suite bathroom with bathtub, shower and double vanity sink, dresser, small table and chairs and access to the balcony.
Bedroom two
Twin bedroom on the first floor; en-suite with bathtub, shower and double vanity sink, dresser, sofa, table and access to a secondary terrace.
Bedroom three
Double bedroom on the first floor; en-suite bathroom with bathtub and shower, dresser, TV and access to the balcony.
Bedroom four and five
Twin bedrooms on the first floor; en-suite shower rooms.
Bedroom six
Double bedroom on the first floor; en-suite shower room, dresser, desk, access to the balcony and an independent living area which can accommodate one additional guest on a sofa bed if required.
Please note that whilst an extra person can be accommodated in the sixth bedroom, the villa has a maximum capacity of 12 guests.
Dining
Your personal chef will be on hand to create a daily lunch or dinner of local delicacies and should you wish a daily buffet breakfast can be arranged at your request on your luxury villa holiday here. Though should you choose not to leave the comfort of your luxury villa additional meals can be arranged to cater for your every request here.
Culinary delights awaiting you in Capri include the island’s most famous dish, ravioli capresi – light pasta parcels filled with creamy parmigiano and caciotta cheese and enriched with tomato and basil sauce.
Seafood is also a huge deal on the island. Be sure to order pezzogna (red seabream) on your holiday, which is caught along the shores of Capri. Local shrimp served sautéed or nestled in risotto are also firm favourites.
Of course, a meal in Italy is nothing without a bottle or two of Capri Rosso or Capri Bianco – the island has a long history of winemaking.
If you have room for more, why not end your meal with a slice of torta caprese, a local chocolate and almond cake traditionally served with a short glass of iced limoncello?
