They do say some of the best things come in small packages, and this perfectly formed luxury villa is no exception. San Pietro offers five-star quality on a small scale, making it the perfect escape for a family of four or two couples, who want a holiday that’s just a little bit special.
Step inside the 12th-century stone walls and you’ll find an interior that is stunningly beautiful in its simplicity and where no comfort has been overlooked. The airy living room with its oversized sofa and handcrafted shelves full of books is ideal for a bit of top-quality after-dinner lounging, while the hand-sewn leather recliners in the master bedroom offer the perfect spot for an afternoon snooze.
You’ll also find bottle upon bottle of famous wines from the region at this luxury villa, (at an additional cost), as well as a few we can guarantee you’ll never have tried. Indeed, lovers of good food and wine will be well served at San Pietro, which boasts a state-of-the-art kitchen for preparing your Italian feasts. There’s even a cookery school on site where you can learn how to create those rustic Tuscan dishes and delicate desserts.
Nestled in the heart of rural Italy in the pretty residential village of Castiglioncello del Trinoro, the property is cosy and private but also moments from the estate’s boutique hotel, where guests can enjoy shared use of the hotel’s indoor and outdoor pools, spa, wonderful restaurants and cocktail lounge with stunning views over the valley.
San Pietro has a little bit of magic about it. If you manage to leave here without briefly contemplating chucking in your life back home to pick olives under the Tuscan sun, you might just be the first person to do so.
Villa San Pietro is located in the residential village of Castiglioncello del Trinono in Tuscany.
