Arriving at this striking stone villa you’ll feel as though you’re on top of the world. And with views that stretch as far as the eye can see in every direction, there’s a good chance you’ll spot something new every day you spend here.
Villa Santa Croce has been designed to act as a luxury home away from home, with stylish contemporary soft furnishings complemented by the building’s rustic original features. The huge living room is an airy oasis, featuring cool tiled floors and exposed ceiling beams, as well as a neutral colour scheme and soft sofas to sink into after a day in the sun. Upstairs, all three of the bedrooms are decorated in calming grey and white tones, and high-quality linen and big beds ensure a good night’s sleep for all.
Outside, a large patio wraps around the villa, providing multiple al fresco dining spots. Step just outside the kitchen for a sun-soaked breakfast, then settle down later in the day for dinner under the pergola with spectacular sunset views. Add a secluded barbecue terrace, a shaded hammock and the sun loungers surrounding the infinity pool into the mix and it’s clear you’re not short of spots to spend a sun-kissed day in the lap of luxury. Best of all, whatever spot you choose, you can be sure of a dramatic view.
Set in prime position overlooking the estate’s majestic valley, Villa Santa Croce is a countryside escape in the heart of Umbria.
The estate benefits from a restaurant, bar, wine cellar and cooking school, and several activities can be enjoyed right on the estate too.
Further afield, there are several shops and restaurants in the village of Pierantonio, which is just a 10 minute drive away. The villa couldn’t be easier to reach either, as Florence airport is just under a 2 hour drive away, whilst the airports of Pisa and Rome are a 2 hour and 30 minute drive away.

Given the villa’s location, surrounded by verdant vineyards, olive groves and farmland, you’ll also want to make sure you sample plenty of the local produce. The estate cooking school offers classes for all abilities, and wine tastings can also be arranged, complete with a visit to the impressive wine cellar.
For a special occasion, or simply to mix things up, why not ask the estate owners to arrange a team of chefs to come in and prepare a delicious breakfast spread in the villa.
