Hamptons style meets Greek island laid-back living. This luxury villa on Mykonos is a beautiful hideaway for those who like their rest and relaxation to come with a good sprinkling of luxe.
The natural stone and whitewashed exterior as you approach Villa Serenity sets the calming tone for the interior rooms where flagstone floors, off-white walls, natural linens and rattans bring an airy, coastal feel to the villa.
The spacious communal areas are relaxed and welcoming with generously sized sofas to encourage plenty of lounging and sociable dining areas where you can all get together to eat. But there’s lots of space for everyone to do their own thing, too, and the guesthouse and separate lounge area shared by two of the bedrooms in the main house means there’s always somewhere to retreat to for some peace and quiet.
Each of the light and airy bedrooms is designed for a cool, restful night’s sleep and spa-style bathrooms add a little luxe pampering to your everyday ablutions.
Outside, the focal point is that beautiful infinity pool, which curves majestically away from the house towards the sea and is surrounded by cosy rattan sun loungers. Beyond is a lovely gazebo with dining area big enough for all of you that appears to hang out over the cliff edge. Watch the sun go down as you open another bottle of wine and listen to the sound of the waves, feeling like you’re on the very edge of the earth.
Villa Serenity is situated in the Tourlos area of Mykonos, perched high on a cliff looking out to sea. It’s a 10 minute drive to Mykonos Town. The island’s international airport is also just a 10 minute drive away.

If you’re eating out there are a number of tavernas nearby. Meze on Port at the Olia Hotel has a lovely terrace overlooking the harbour and is a great spot for lunch in the sun.
In Mykonos Town, just a short drive away, there is a plethora of sophisticated eating spots. The Nobu venue, Matsuhisa, at the Belvedere Hotel is a must-do for gourmands for its Japanese fusion dishes that have become a byword for the food revolution across the globe.
For a more laid-back, local experience, try Sea Satin Market, directly beneath the windmills, where you can choose your own seafood or steak and watch it being grilled to perfection in front of you.
